Back in the day bomber air crew members relied heavily on good, warm and durable mittens to keep their hands and fingers from frostbite at high altitudes while performing an incredibly dangerous job. Keeping the tradition of those original mittens, we have designed our mittens to be made of 100% genuine bison hide to endure the roughest conditions with a thicker hide. Durability in mind and with warmth of the Polartec fleece lining, we are certain these mittens are going to perform better than the 1940's version!
